Pilot

Organization of the pilot phase

  • In this stage of the project, Refresh IT Solutions proposes to migrate a representative number of objects and to reach the pace that will be applied during the overall deployment.

  • In order to guarantee the scalability that will take place during the deployment phase, we propose progressive scaling up during the pilot phase.
  • Example of parceling:
    • 100 users migrated at a site during the first week of the pilot phase
    • 300 users migrated during the second week of the pilot phase.
    • 500 migrations carried out during the last week of the pilot phase, with a pace over several nights/days equivalent to that of the overall deployment

    Transfer of competencies

    During the pilot phase, a transfer of competencies is provided to the teams in charge of the general deployment (the client or the service provider).


    Refresh IT Solutions trains the deployment teams in one or several sessions. At the end of this training, the operators are able to carry out the migrations and know how to:

    • Order migrations,
    • Supervise migrations,
    • Operate and act on migrations in progress,
    • Resolve problems that arise.

    The operational teams of the client or his partner in charge of the overall deployment generally take part in the last week of the pilot phase in order to supplement their training.
