History
Refresh IT Solutions has been created by Serge Soulet in 2006. The company has been founded to cater large & medium companies with messaging deployment software, workstation deployment software, distribution software, migration solutions that have been designed between 2001 and 2006 for France Télécom Group to respond to their own requirements.
At the end of 2001, France Télécom adopted a Microsoft Exchange E-mail system. Having studied the systems available on the market, the company decided to design its own deployment solution to respond to its needs inherent to such a project within a structure of that dimension. Large structure
One of the major tasks was to execute the deployment from heterogeneous source systems to Microsoft Exchange, without technicians' intervention on the numerous groups’ sites (hundreds). Refresh Messaging solution was released and patented at the end of 2003, in France and in many countries.
In 2004, France Télécom decided to migrate groups of workstations (about 150,000 PC's) spread all over the world. The project’s cost, evaluated with market tools and methods, was considered too high, and France Télécom decided to design its own solution, the only alternative to achieve the objectives set previously which were: reducing the project costs by about 70% compared to the initial estimation.
Refresh for PC was designed and patented as of this date. Refresh Distributor solution has enabled France Télécom, during its project and then in recurring use, an increase in bandwidth of 75% for the distribution of workstations’ images (to be migrated), has also been patented later on.
These three solutions, Refresh Messaging, Refresh For PC and Refresh Distributor are part of the initial products' portfolio marketed by Refresh IT Solutions since the company’s creation.
Since then, we have designed several solutions to respond to the market’s needs and to continue improving our state-of-the-art messaging and workstations solutions. Refresh IT Solutions also developed various software solutions with the same focus to support the efficiency and performance of a group of workstations, thereby helping enterprises to significantly reduce the TCO and to facilitate upcoming deployment projects.
Our strategy is and remains to support large account clients by bringing them technically irreproachable products to realize their projects at lower costs and with the best perceived quality, and also the accompaniment services needed for the best implementation of our solutions.
